Brief History

To fulfill the growing needs of financial practitioners, the department of finance was set up in 1998, with the first class of undergraduates enrolled in 1999. Since 2002, the department accommodates more undergraduates with two undergraduate classes in total. The number of undergraduate classes expanded further to three classes starting 2004. In 2005, the department launched master-degree programs. Till 2010, there have been 678 undergraduates and 31 graduates accomplished their programs in the department.
